Just finished playing kaeri no kai 2's Mai no Tsubomi. Enjoyed the hell out of it (despite the length). I'll get around to writing about it at a later time.
Right now, I'd like to talk about "Dual Phase - The Asou Twins". This game is a reminder of why I need to seriously check to see what a game is about before actually playing it. I remember just seeing a batch of thumbs, and DL'd it thinking, "Cute pink-haired twins? Righteous!"
Couldn't have been more wrong. The fucked up part is that I already knew what direction the game was going to go the minute I read the monologues that came up before the "To Be Continued" mark. I really hate being right...
Then again, my dumb ass really should've Alt+F4'd the hell out of there the minute they did the fisting scene. (Again, another flag went up before the scene came up and again I didn't listen.)
I think playing the cutesy Naisho no Natsuyasumi (a much earlier kaeri no kai 2 title) added a painful whiplash effect.
... so if there's anyone else out there who's interested in the game but not into weird n' kinky stuff, "Dual Phase - The Asou Twins" isn't just loli twincest. It's also got some fucked-in-the-head yandere story with a nice side of weird n' kinky. ("Awesome art + Fucked Writing = Increased Grossout Factor"-count: +1)

Thoughts on: Courreges Ace
Sometimes, nobody cares about poetry or aesthetics. They just want to see some fucky fucky already. There's actually a genre of eroge for that, called the "nukige". It's a wonderful genere, in which the dev's essentially go, "Fuck the plot. Focus all the budget on the animation for her tits. Don't worry about the audio, we'll just use Rengoku-Teien and one (or more) of the same 5 indy female ero-seiyuu."
Normally, I'm a lady that likes plot. But sometimes, even I just wanna see some tits jiggle. For such an occasion, I perfer the makers "Courreges Ace". (Note: Soft Circle Courreges, the parent studio, does eroge as well. However, the Courreges Ace label specifically deals in eroge with animated scenes, which is what my totally spoiled ass perfers.)
... I mean seriously, how can you say no to THAT? (Again, glasses bias might be in effect here. But Serika is so pretty~)
Funny thing about the Courreges Ace lineup: the majority of the stories are actually kind of dark or weird n' kinky. (The infamous "Hakoiri Shoujo - Virgin Territory" is one of their releases.) One such release features tentacle rape (and nothing but) with art by Bosshi. (Yes, THAT Bosshi. "Ojou-sama Wa H Ga Osuki"-Bosshi.) I find that kind of stuff a bit of a turn-off, and not even Bosshi's delicious art was enough to save it. (Only Sol-fa-soft game I've never played? It's the one with tentacles.)
I think one of the unspoken laws of ero-study is as such: The better the art, the more the artist is prone to writing some seriously fucked up stuff (e.g., Midori no Rupe) Courreges Ace titles are absolutely no exception, with titles like "JC Rachi Kankin ROpe", or "Sex Chuudoku". If I'm not mistaken, I think "JC Rachi Kankin ROpe" was my first exposure to the group. I immediately fell for the art, but when I demoed the CG from the game, I was hella grossed out.
I felt it'd be a waste to just write off this group though, so I decided to browse through their catalogue and see if there were titles I could stomach better. My first two hits were Chiteki Shoujo (pictured above) and "Toukou Shoujo". "Chiteki Shoujo" became an instant favorite (Serika is too damn cute), and "Toukou Shoujo" was good as well. I was hella glad I stuck with it. The art is just so pretty. Afterwards, I played "Hakoiri Shoujo", "Poko Poko Imouto", and "Semen Sommelier" (my 2nd favorite Courreges-A title because of how ridiculous it is). I enjoyed those too.
And now we return to the present day: It's been a while since I played a Courreges-A game. I wanted to like "Sex Chuudoku", but it made me squeamish. Drugs and demeaning sex are two big no-no's in my book. I've known about "Saimin Kanojo" since its release, but I was hesitant to play through it because hypnotism stories can get pretty ugly. (I've seen a few get Kirintei-crazy. And if you know who that author is, then you know the feeling I'm getting at.)
But thankfully, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Actually, it was better. Fuck the rest of the game, let's go with the imouto route all day!
At the same time, I also got to check out "Imouto Netori", Courreges-A's latest. As I've mentioned before, I'm actually none too big on the NTR genre. But the character looked cute, so maybe it'd be another case of ANOTHER WORLD. (It's the one by Yuzuki N'.) While it was nowhere near as well written, it wasn't bad, I guess. You don't actually see the protagonist fuck his sister in front of her boyfriend (thank goodness), it's more of a "nip that shit in the bud" kind of play. A sort of, "You expected your first kiss to be Johnathan, but it was actually I, Dio!" kind of play.
... JoJo is relevant now, right? People will get that joke?
In any case, I really liked the sex scenes. They're as great to look at as always. Actually, there's a scene in "Imouto Netori" where the protagonist's mother calls the house while the two are having sex. I've always found scenes where someone's trying not to moan on the phone while getting railed hot. I mean, ridiculously hot. It's almost like walking past a door and you KNOW someone's fucking behind it from all the moaning and shaking. It's like poetry. And if their voice quivvers? Instant panty soaker.
But these games felt rather... short. I mean, it's a nukige, there's absolutely NO real plot to speak of. Dick in, dick out, rinse wash repeat ad nauseum 'til we get to the ending. But that's the thing: the games are ridiculously linear compared to the other Courreges-A games I've played. While the concept of multiple endings doesn't come up too much (I think "Hakoiri Shoujo" and "Semen Sommelier" had a few multiple endings), there's actually a fair bit to do (no pun intended) before hitting the end of the game:
"Semen Sommelier" has you cosplaying different outfits over the different days of the convention, while "Chiteki Shoujo" had you choosing different positions and locales as you spent time with Serika. With these two, you could just hold down the Ctrl key and just do a run with all the top options, then one with the bottom options. (Again, no pun intended.) Not much effort to unlock everything, and totally makes the save function completely moot.
Again, I know I'm bitching about gameplay in a NUKIGE of all things, but it's still a game, and I want to have fun exploring all there is to explore. I'm not asking for BlazBlue, but at least make the alternate paths feel like the story's actually branching, instead of just being a choice to drizzle her with love juices or stain the inside of her snatch.
Otherwise, Courreges Ace games are pretty damn hot. "Chiteki Shoujo" is essentially, "I hope you don't mind if I use your hand to pleasure myself on the train ride home," followed by "Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but meet me in the boy's room, and fuck me maybe." I also love Rengoku-Teien, so there's bonus points there. (I think every time I play a Courreges Ace game, I make it a point to see how many of the tracks I can recognize. Bonus points if I've actually got the song on hand. I do the same thing with the vincent and inusuku games.)
Did I mention that I think Serika is cute? Serika is cute as shit. Satomi is pretty too, but she's a bit of a nutbag.

Thoughts on: Imako System - The Animation
You know who's cool? The artist Midori no Rupe. I liked Imako System so much I got myself a physical copy of the tank.
But you know what's even better than a tank full of MnR?
Animated MnR.
While Queen Bee isn't the BEST studio, I do love their attention to detail. MnR's deliciously attractive artstyle is captured quite well in the animated adaptation, for the most part.
Speaking of animated adaptations, Pink Pinapple's take on Garden wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great. IIRC Garden the Animation only adapted bit of the first chapter or so, then went on to feature some other girl. Furthermore, the designs were definitely cookie-cutter PinPai fare. Hitotsuji looks like Hitotsuji, but you can DEFINITELY tell she's been given the PinPai character design... It sort of works with the original design, but is nowhere as attractive as the original.
... but who cares about Garden? We're here to talk about Imako System: The Loli-Snatching Saga~!
Truth be told, I absolutely abhor NTR, which makes my interest in this series rather strange. To date, the only 2 NTR-themed serials I've read and actually enjoyed were Midori no Rupe's "Imako-san" and Yuzuki N''s "Another World". And in both cases, it was because I REALLY like the artist.
I also really, really like Imako's design. I think it's the glasses. I REALLY like glasses.
The Imako-san serial was also one of the first to get me into hunting down anthologies like TENMA. I used to get so excited to see how Imako's situation would change every other month. Ah, those were the times.
Likewise, I'm excited to see how Queen Bee will wrap up this one. While each episode has been based on 2 chapters each, one must wonder how they'll handle the remaining chapters Kimodameshi and Ichina III. When Imako System vol. 1 came out, I was surprised to see Ichina II in the latter half of the episode. I'm also suprised to see that NONE of the flashback bits were featured as well. Perhaps they'll all make an appearance with Kimodameshi? Or maybe they'll just squeeze everything into the 3rd volume, sort of like what they did with Tayu Tayu. (I really, really thought vol. 4 of Tayu Tayu was going to be longer... and they didn't even do the Teacher's chapter!)
Part of me thinks Queen Bee goofed with the chapter order, thinking Ichina II came before Yakubutsu Gaku. Another thinks that this was intentional, given the nature of the story. These feelings are why I'm so interested to see how Queen Bee will handle the rest of the series.
In any case, Imako is still cute in all her animated glory. While the animation isn't all that, and the plot is still as convoluted as it's been, it's still Imako and that's always a good thing. Maybe fate will smile upon me one more time and we'll even get an animated adaptation of Neko Kaburi? (I know that's a fan favorite, there.)

Either Saegusa Kohaku's "Onii-chan to wa Yobitakunai!" or "Onegai Sister", Yaya Hinata's "Perverseness", Teri Terio's "While Their Guardian's Away on a Business Trip...", or Azuma Tesshin's "Ojou-sama Ikemasen". That would be awesome.

the title screen, which is a hybrid of the scene select and
endings screens from vol. 1 and 2.
Scene Guide:
-Scene 1-1: What are we gonna do on the bed?-
Watch the opening. You kinda have no choice. You'll unlock this
as soon as you hit the title screen. This scene leads to some
paizuri and fingering.
-Scene 1-2: I already have a pussy, I don't need another one!-
As you've got your hand on her shirt during the first branch,
choose to either apologize (2nd option) or let the game idle.
Your cowardly ass will get this ending.
-Scene 1-3: All dressed down and nowhere to go...-
Stare at her topless. No seriously, letting the game idle at
the start of the sex scene (she'll have her top off) causes
her to chide your virgin ass out. It's impolite to stare!
-Scene 1-4: I think we'll be the breast of friends-
Climaxing during paizuri unlocks this. There are a LOT of
options that lead to the paizuri scene during scene 1, AND
they the only ones accessible on your first playthrough so
there's absolutely no way you'll miss this.
-Scene 2-1: She knows how to handle a joystick-

after succesfully completing scene 1. (I.e. Come on her

During the sex scene, select the 2nd option to switch to

From there, choose the middle option to come. At that point, you
have several options:
-Starting with the top option, the correct set of options will

-Starting with the bottom option, the correct set of options will
net you Scene 3-6
-Choosing the middle option is yet another way to view scene 2-3.
-Letting the game idle is another way to get scene 3-4.
(Side-note: If at any point you see flecks of love juices hitting
the screen you're either doing this scene right or you need to
start getting tissues. Or both.)
-Scene 3-7: Not ready for this rodeo...-
Initiate the cowgirl scene, then let the game idle. There's even
a premature finish for this scene!
If you need to know how to initiate the cowgirl position in Scene
3, then see the section for Scene 3-8.
-Scene 3-8: I wanna take you for a ride-
To initiate the cowgirl scene in Scene 3, you have to select the
1st option thrice after insertion. The bottom option will become
available, and choosing it will initiate the cowgirl position.
Alternatively, you can finger her thrice during Scene 1. Upon
entering Scene 3 from Scene 1, you'll notice the bottom option
to switch to cowgirl has already been unlocked. (May require
unlocking both scenes 3-7 and 3-8.)
From the cowgirl position, you can click the first option to
come inside her to get this ending, or you can let the game
idle to get ending 3-7 or 3-9 depending on how you reached this
position. (See adjacent entries.)
-Scene 3-9: Milking-
To get this ending, you have to have scenes 3-7 and 3-8.
Once that's done, do the following:
-Start up Scene 1, and finger her thrice.
-Select the top option to jump to Scene 3, where the bottom
option to switch the cowgirl will be immediately available.
-After switching to cowgirl, let the game idle, as you would for
ending 3-7.
If you followed the above method, you'll get this ending instead
of scene 3-7.
-Scene 3-10: Can't Stop-
Because in every Genkai game, you have to have Ahegao.
Surprisingly, this one's pretty tame, but insuku's saved the best
end for last: you have to unlock every other ending before
attempting this one.
Once you're ready, do the following:
-Start from Scene 1-1
-Finger her thrice
-From there, select the top option to stick it in.
-Then, select the top option thrice to give her a good dicking.
-Next, select the middle option to come.
-After you come inside of her, you're given the option to come
again. Choose the bottom option.
-A singular option will pop up. Do NOT click this. Missing this
option will lead to two more options. Choose the bottom.
Get this end. Fuck her brains out. That's all there is to it.
-Scene 4-1: Epilogue-
Complete Scene 3 without ejaculating prematurely and you'll
finish the game. After viewing the ending and the credits,
the majority of the options that read "UNLOCK" will now be
accessible. What these options do is allow you to transition
from one sex scene to another.
Closing:
After clearing the game, you'll unlock an extra scene (Ex Content),
as well as small samples for Character Vocal collections that
insuku helped create. You'll also get a small track player that
will temporarily change the image and bgm of the title screen. Each

the title screen, which is a hybrid of the scene select and
endings screens from vol. 1 and 2.
Scene Guide:
-Scene 1-1: What are we gonna do on the bed?-
Watch the opening. You kinda have no choice. You'll unlock this
as soon as you hit the title screen. This scene leads to some
paizuri and fingering.
-Scene 1-2: I already have a pussy, I don't need another one!-
As you've got your hand on her shirt during the first branch,
choose to either apologize (2nd option) or let the game idle.
Your cowardly ass will get this ending.
-Scene 1-3: All dressed down and nowhere to go...-

From there, choose the middle option to come. At that point, you
have several options:
-Starting with the top option, the correct set of options will
net you scene 3-5
-Starting with the bottom option, the correct set of options will
net you Scene 3-6
-Choosing the middle option is yet another way to view scene 2-3.
-Letting the game idle is another way to get scene 3-4.
(Side-note: If at any point you see flecks of love juices hitting
the screen you're either doing this scene right or you need to
start getting tissues. Or both.)
-Scene 3-7: Not ready for this rodeo...-
Initiate the cowgirl scene, then let the game idle. There's even
a premature finish for this scene!

-Scene 3-8: I wanna take you for a ride-
To initiate the cowgirl scene in Scene 3, you have to select the

To get this ending, you have to have scenes 3-7 and 3-8.
Once that's done, do the following:
-Start up Scene 1, and finger her thrice.
-Select the top option to jump to Scene 3, where the bottom

-After switching to cowgirl, let the game idle, as you would for
ending 3-7.
If you followed the above method, you'll get this ending instead
of scene 3-7.
-Scene 3-10: Can't Stop-
Because in every Genkai game, you have to have Ahegao.

end for last: you have to unlock every other ending before
attempting this one.
Once you're ready, do the following:
-Start from Scene 1-1
-Finger her thrice
-From there, select the top option to stick it in.

-Next, select the middle option to come.
-After you come inside of her, you're given the option to come
again. Choose the bottom option.
-A singular option will pop up. Do NOT click this. Missing this

After Cradle Song, you move onto Dolly's Dream. The game
consists of choosing a location to visit, and then a sex
scene (which consists of a massive amount of options).
Most of the time, you are given a choice to linger
around the house, or leave the grounds. After the 1st
Phrase, leaving the grounds will have you take the girl
to a different location in the following order:
-Classroom
-Your home
-The park
-Pool
However, keep in mind that the above order is fixed; so

This ending typically occurs if you fail to meet the
requirements for the other endings. Also, even if you meet
the requirements for all the other endings, choosing to
talk (short) most of the time will still set you up with this
ending.
Really, the only time talking (short) will give you something
other than this ending is if you choose to stay inside the

scene you encounter, and more. You're practically guaranteed this
ending if stay inside, and then exhaust every other option (except
leaving and undressing) before penetrating her during EVERY sex scene
you come across, then choosing to talk (long) or penetrating her
during the sex scene during Phrase 9. You can also get this scene
if you fufilled the requirements for the maid ending, then exhausted
all your options duing the sex scene in Phrase 9.
Pet:
You decide to turn the girl into your pet, until you're kicked out
of the household.
This ending is rather difficult to attain, unless you know how to
get the ending where the girl decides to live with you. Basically,
fully undress her and exhaust every other option (except leaving)
before penetrating her during EVERY sex scene you come across.
However, during ONE and ONLY ONE of those sex scenes, you have to
choose to leave. You don't have to stay inside for the whole game,
but it's reccomended you stay inside for Phrases 3 and 5, since
these two are when you recieve additional options for sex scenes.
Once you've left during the one of the sex scenes, and played with
her thoroughly for the rest, you'll need to initiate the sex scene
during Phrase 9. Choose to leave during this last sex scene, and
the ending should be yours.
If you're having trouble unlocking this one, then simply stay
inside for Phrases 1 and 3, playing with her thoroughly before
penetrating her, as stated above. During Phrase 4, choose to leave
during the sex scene. During Phrase 5, choose to stay inside again,
and then play with her thoroughly like you did for Phrases 1 and 3.
If you followed the instructions thus far, choosing to stay inside
or go outside for Phrase 7 will no longer make a difference;
provided you remember to penetrate her if you choose to go outside.
During Phrase 9, leave during the sex scene and the ending should
be yours.
With Maid:
Shimizu has developed an interest with you, and would like to
share you with Kasumi.
You have to encounter Shimizu (the maid) in Phrase 4 to set up
the encounter during Phrase 8. When she asks you who it is you're
coming to see, tell her that you're there to see her (bottom
option). Then, during Phrase 9, choose to talk (short), and the
ending's yours.
Present for having all 5 endings:
Once you've viewed all 5 endings, the game will thank you for
playing, and then tell you a command you can enter using the
keyboard at the title screen that can be used to completely
unlock the CG album.
-Sex scene-
During the sex scenes, your choices will often lead to another
set of choices, which may end up leading to another set of
choices. The process repeats until you penetrate the girl, or
decide to leave.
In short, you're done playing when you decided to stick it in
or walk it out.
After Phrase 1, you'll notice that your choices during sex scenes
will increase. As stated earlier, staying inside during certain
points of the game will allow you to utilize new moves to put on
the girl. Which techniques you can learn and when you can learn

This is the 8th designated game, "Ningyou no Yume to Mezame" (A Doll's Dream and Awakening). There are a suprisingly large amount of options to work with, and the different endings require some effort.
Years ago, I wrote a guide designed specially for those who wanted to play the game without a proper Japanese literacy level. (Yes, it seems a bit odd, but somegaijin don't care for language barriers!) It's also helpful for people who want to shoot for 100% completion, which was something that wasn't so well documented when this guide was first written.
So, regardless of whether or not you can actually read Japanese characters, hopefully the guide will be of some use!

This is the introduction of the game.
There are no choices here.
-Dolly's Dream-
After Cradle Song, you move onto Dolly's Dream. The game
consists of choosing a location to visit, and then a sex
scene (which consists of a massive amount of options).
Most of the time, you are given a choice to linger
around the house, or leave the grounds. After the 1st
Phrase, leaving the grounds will have you take the girl
to a different location in the following order:
-Classroom
-Your home
-The park
-Pool
However, keep in mind that the above order is fixed; so
you cannot take her to the pool until you've taken her
to your home, and the park; in that order.
If you choose to stay inside during specific Phrases, you
will recieve additional techniques to use during the sex
scenes (detailed below).
After the 7th phrase, you will proceed to the 8th Phrase.
This phrase will vary in length depending on the choices
you make during the game. The length of the 8th Phrase
is determined by two factors:
The first factor, is if you met the maid during the 4th
Phrase. If not, you will not see her during the
beginning of the 8th Phrase. To see her, you have to be
very thorough during the sex scenes, exhausting all your
options before penetrating Kasumi.
The second factor, is whether or not you decided to
leave during ANY of the sex scenes. Choosing to leave
even ONCE will cut your 8th Phrase short, regardless of
whether or not you've met the maid.
Finally, you'll reach the 9th Phrase, where you'll need
to make a few more choices. Afterwards, you'll move
onto Dolly Awakes.

The endings, and how to get them are detailed below:

Nothing special happens. You enter your classroom, and after
a few words, the game ends.
This ending typically occurs if you fail to meet the
requirements for the other endings. Also, even if you meet
the requirements for all the other endings, choosing to
talk (short) most of the time will still set you up with this
ending.
Really, the only time talking (short) will give you something
other than this ending is if you choose to stay inside the
entire game, then strip the girl completely and do everything
to her before you penetrate her in EVERY sex scene you come
across. (In other words, if you're going for the "maid/living
with you" endings.)
